If you want to make your weight loss journey a success, prepare a weekly plan on Sunday evening.
Have a look at your diary for the week, and write down your plans for the week.
Are you going out for a meal with friends or on business ? And if so, what is your strategy to not over eat or drink too much ? Set down clear goals. For instance, I will only have a main course, and 1 glass of wine as well as 2 glasses of water. Or, I will go for a chicken salad with dressing on the side, and no wine at all.
What days are you going to exercise and what exercise are you planning ? For instance, Monday I will go for a 750m swim, with a few laps warmup and cooldown. Wednesday I'm going to the spinning class at 6pm.
This week, I will not have fizzy drinks at all.
How much water are you planning to drink each day ?
Write down how many coffees/teas you had every day and set yourself a daily goal.
Writing such a little note every week will help keeping you focused on your weight loss goal and help you reach it.
Make sure to track your progress throughout the week, and reward yourself with a non foodie treat for achieving your goals.
