List Your Unhealthy Habits

To succeed in your weight loss journey, you first need to be aware of your unhealthy habits.

As such, sit down for a moment, and prepare a list of those habits you believe and know are unhealthy.

It can range from anything such as not drinking enough water, your morning cappuccino, you daily chocolate bar, pack of crisp, too many take-aways, not eating enough vegetables, eating too much refined carbohydrates, not eating breakfast, not exercising at all or not regularly, and many more.

Up to you to list what you think are your unhealthy habits. Some will have a longer list, some will have a shorter one. However, I'm sure we all have some kind of list we can put together.

Now sort this list in order of what is easier to change to what's more difficult to change.

Once you've done that, take one item every two weeks, and make a point of changing it. Making small changes and making a habit of the change, is what moves you from a unhealthy lifestyle to a healthy one.

But make sure you stick to the change. You can't change your whole life overnight. People who embark on a diet, and swap all their eating habits and exercise patterns overnight are less likely to succeed in the long run, as it's way too hard to stick to it. So take one item every other week and stick to the change.

Soon you will see that your body is happier, feeling more energised, and you'll look better as well.
