Q Who are my programmes for? Who will benefit the most from them?
All our Weight Loss Programmes are targeted for people who need or want to lose around the 3 stone mark. Some a little less, some a lot more. Depending on your motivation and needs, you automatically will feel more comfortable with one of my 4 Programmes. You might not lose all the weight you want or need to lose during the Programme, but you will be well on your way to reach your weight loss goals and will have learned all the tools needed to get there. Clients who have a lot of weight to lose, generally continue to work with us for an additional 12 weeks on the same or another programme. We will discuss the right programme and length of programme for you, depending on requirement.
Our Mindset of Weight Loss Programme are ideal for anyone that struggles with willpower and motivation to lose weight.
Our Nutritional Therapy Programmes are not only weight loss focused, but are also for people who struggle with health issues that can be improved by changing your eating habits.
Q What type of person do I have to be to make it work?
You have to have the desire to make a change to your life once and for all. You might have tried all kinds of diets before, but you have to be positive and have the belief that you CAN make a change in your life once and for all, but more importantly that you DESERVE to achieve the results you so much want. It might require making lifestyle changes, and it’s not always easy. If you’re not ready for it, then my Programmes are not for you. However, if you are, you will get amazing results that you can sustain for the rest of your life, and I will be there with you each step of the way!
Q Is this open to both men and women?
Yes, the Programmes are equally suitable for both men and women who need to lose weight.
Q How much does it cost? Is there a payment plan?
Full details cost and payment plans will be given during your FREE “Discover the New You” chat. But to give you an idea, our Mindset for Weight Loss Programme cost £127, and our 12 Week Weight Loss Programmes start at £250.
Q Where does the personal training take place?
Except for the Online Weight Loss Coaching Programmes, all other Programmes are taking place at The Finchley Weight Loss Centre by AI Fitness, Balfour House, 741 High Road, North Finchley, London N12 0BP.
Q Is it easy to park around The Finchley Weight Loss Centre?
If you’re happy to walk 5-8minutes and count it as your warmup, you can
park free of charge for 90minutes at Waitrose on Ballards Lane or 2h at Homebase on the High Road, or a little bit further
towards the Finchley Lido and the surrounding streets, there is all day free parking.
Otherwise, there is plenty of Pay & Display/Pay by Phone parking just in front or in the surrounding streets (Mon-Sat 8-6:30pm or 9-5pm depending on streets). There are also quite a few parking lots where you can pay & display or Pay by Phone, and some of them are really cheap.
Q I want to know more about the Absolute Satisfaction Guarantee?
It’s simple. If you follow the Programme to the letter, both the exercise and the nutrition side, and you’re not happy with the results, you can ask for a full refund.
Q Is this really worth it?
Programmes vary in price depending on where you’re at now, how badly you want to change things, and how much hand holding you require. At the top end, we have Packages which are a considered investment, for those who need professional guidance and 100% support with life changing, fabulous results. None are cheap. If you aren’t committed to change, or if money is a serious concern for you at this point, then I would politely ask you to wait a while. You can always subscribe to my Newsletter today and get some GREAT information for free. Then, when you are ready, we may work together in the future. This is going to change your life. Q What happens during holidays?
If you are lucky enough to go on holidays then your Programme will build around them. All this will be discussed upon Registration, so there will be no surprises. During your holidays (or your Trainer’s) you will still be expected to achieve your goals. You’ll be given a holiday Programme and all the support that you need to keep you going.
Q What happens if I have to cancel a session?
We run a 24 hour cancellation policy – if you need to make changes then please let us know at least 24 hours in advance and you will be offered another session as soon as possible after the cancelled one at a mutually convenient time. If that’s not possible then you will be given a home Programme to stay on track, towards your goals. If you don’t give us 24h notice, you will forfeit your session.
Q What happens if I am ill?
If you have to cancel due to illness then please just phone or text and let your Trainer know asap. Remember, your Trainer cannot work with you if you are ill – even a heavy cold will constitute illness. You will be offered a booking as soon as possible assuming you have recovered. If this isn’t possible then you will be given a home Programme recommendations to keep you on track. But remember, a 24h notice would be greatly appreciated.
Q What happens if something serious happens and I can’t finish the Programme?
If for medical reasons you have to cut short your Programme, you may be entitled to an extension or a pro-rata refund, at the Trainer’s discretion.
Q Why don’t you offer shorter duration packages – say a monthly deal or PAYG?
Simply because these won’t do the job for you. It’s obvious that what you want is something that is going to work. Paying for only an hour or a month at a time will give you the opportunity to stop before the job is done. You may have done this in the past! Think about it… if you go to your GP with a problem and he gives you some medication to take, you’re expecting him to give you specific instructions on when to take them and for how long to get fully better, and just follow his instructions. Well it’s the same here. My Programmes will give you guaranteed results if you follow them fully.
Q I’ve had a Personal Trainer and Programmes before. I never lose weight. I am fed up that nothing works for me?
It’s not your fault that it hasn’t worked up until now. You might not have had the right advice and support. I am so confident that this will work that I offer an Absolute Satisfaction Guarantee. If you’re not happy with the results after following my programme to the letter, you can ask for your money back.
Q I don’t have the motivation to stick to anything. I find exercise boring?
Working out with one of our team is very different to working out in the gym. Exercises will be varied, and within a few weeks you will start feeling better and changes will happen which will keep you motivated!
Q I hate gyms. Will I have to go to the gym?
No definitely not. The Finchley Weight Loss Centre is not a gym. You won’t find treadmills, bikes or cross trainers there, nor heavy weights. And if you’re worried about mirrors, don’t be, as there aren’t any!
Q I always give up on diets as they are dull and I can’t eat out?
My nutrition programme is not a diet. The tools you will be using will help you break old habits, and acquire new habits around food. You will still be able to eat out, and won’t feel deprived. You might actually enjoy eating out even more, as you won’t feel so negative anymore after a night out!
Q I have some old injuries and can’t do much. Can I still embark on the programme?
All exercise will be personalised to what you can do. So all previous injuries will be taken into account during exercise programme design. If need be, we’ll ask you to put us in touch with your consultant/physio/osteopath to make sure we don’t give you any contra-indicative exercises. You will be amazed at how much you will improve and how much more energy you will have.
Even if you decide to join our Lose 21lbs in 12 Weeks Programme, we will adapt the exercises to each person within the small group.
Q What happens after the Programme is finished? Won’t I just go back to how I was before?
No you won’t! The Programme focuses on breaking old habits and acquiring new healthy habits around food and exercise. You will have enough time to practice those new habits so as not to go back to the old habits. And we highly encourage you to come along to our Circuit Training classes, and our regular talks,workshops and webinars, which will keep you accountable and enable you to discuss any issues you encounter along the way after the end of your Programme.
