Are you embarking on a diet, exercise routine, or lifestyle change ?
Create a support system around you to guarantee your success.
Explain to family, friends and co-workers what you're planning to do, why you're doing it, and ask them to support you in their efforts.
Find a workout buddy. Maybe you can find someone who will be happy to exercise with you. This makes exercise much more fun, but also will increase your chances of keeping it up, as you both will motivate each other.
As for diet, ask everyone to be considerate when offering you some food. Tell them what you are eating, and what you're not. Obviously, although they should be able to eat whatever they want, ask them not to offer you anything that's not on your list.
The more you involve them (without driving them totally nuts), the more successful you will be.
A Personal Trainer can also become part of your support system. With my clients, I push them that little harder in their workouts when I see they don't give 100% of themselves, and I do support them on the diet side by asking them to fill in food diaries, review them together, find out what their downfalls is, etc.
If you want to discuss having a Personal Trainer to give you that extra support, feel free to contact me on 07880627944 or email me at anne@barnetpersonaltrainer.co.uk
